Course Description

This course is designed for entry-level HR professionals and individuals who support HR functions, equipping you with foundational knowledge in performance management, workplace compliance, and core HR operations. You will learn not only what actions to take, but why they matter, building the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in an HR career. With guidance from a seasoned HR consultant Gina Smith, you will explore the value of well-developed workplace policies, sound documentation practices, and practical compliance strategies applied to real-world scenarios. The course also strengthens your ability to navigate people-related challenges, including performance and conduct management, employee engagement and retention, and effective workplace communication.
